Vineyard Wind 1 becomes largest operating offshore wind farm…

Iberdrola, through its US subsidiary Avangrid, has commissioned 10 wind turbines that are already generating 136 MW of electricity for the grid in the US New England region. The plant already provides enough clean energy to power more than 64,000 homes and businesses in Massachusetts.

Therefore, The new wind farm is now officially the largest operating offshore wind farm in the United States.
