UPSC Releases CSE Mains 2024 DAF-1 Report, Check Important Details

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification regarding Direct Application Form-1 (DAF 1) for Civil Services (Mains) Examinations 2024.

Candidates who have cleared the preliminary exams can now register for the main exam on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

The application process for CSE Mains 2024 exam has already begun. Eligible candidates need to submit the Detailed Application Form DAF-I by 12th July 2024 by 6:00 PM.

The UPSC has emphasised that successful candidates must first register on the relevant page of the UPSC website and then fill up the DAF-I ONLINE form.

Any delay in submitting DAF-I form or required supporting documents after the deadline will result in cancellation of candidature for CSE-2024 competition.

The results of the Civil Services Entrance Examination were announced on 1 June 2024 on the official website of UPSC.

Candidates who have successfully passed the preliminary examination will now proceed to the main round, which consists of a written exam and a personality test.

As per the UPSC calendar, the Civil Services Mains Examination 2024 is tentatively scheduled to be held on September 20, 2024.

UPSC aims to fill a total of 1,056 vacancies in central government services and departments through this recruitment exam.

This includes posts in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Additionally, 40 positions have been reserved for persons with reference disabilities (PwBD).
