The Rongxi Intelligent Model will be unveiled at a forum during WAIC 2024 on Saturday.

On Saturday, a Chinese-developed AI foundation model for the finance, marketing and customer service sectors was unveiled in Shanghai at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2024.

The Rongxi Intelligent Model, one of the first of its kind, was unveiled by Beijing-based CLOOPEN, a global provider of intelligent communications cloud services, at the WAIC conference.

The company said the AI model applications, which include Rongxi agents and knowledge co-pilots, as well as trainers, analysts and virtual agents, are designed to improve marketing, sales, customer service and internal management activities within companies.

For example, in the insurance sector, an AI model helps leverage conversation data to make decisions and identify hot spots for consultations and complaints.

In manufacturing, these models isolate work order errors based on context to prevent mass complaints.

In life insurance, they automate service records to create personalized service assistants. In banking, they help with complex policies to increase loan processing efficiency.

CLOOPEN also introduced ELITE MOS, an AI-powered customer-centric operations platform that supports precise decision-making and marketing strategy development.

The platform aims to enable efficient customer service decision-making and increase telemarketing conversion rates through precision marketing, said Shi Zenghui, general manager of CLOOPEN’s digital intelligence cloud solution business.

Corpus Data Product

Meanwhile, Kupasi, a leading Shanghai technology company, in collaboration with AI ecosystem partners, has released a new AI training data corpus product. The product aims to improve AI model training with high-quality data.

“High-quality corpus data is key to the application of AI models across industries,” said Zhuang Mudi, deputy secretary general of the Shanghai government. “They help AI better adapt to real-world scenarios and accelerate the vision of AI empowering various sectors.”

It also launched a new “Corpus Operation Platform 1.0,” introducing a toolchain for data collection, cleaning, labeling, testing and applications. The platform aims to set a global standard for efficient and high-quality Corpus Operation Platform supply, according to the company.

During the event, the company collaborated with partners including Migu Video, Baosight Software, Fudan University and others to release 10 high-quality corpus data products. These products target key industries such as healthcare, urban transportation, retail, finance and entertainment.

In addition, the first guidelines for corpus construction were introduced, as well as technical technical documents for the finance, education and health life sectors. These documents define methodologies and standards for high-quality data sets.

The Financial White Paper redefines high-quality financial datasets and introduces the “Corpus Cube” methodology based on financial knowledge systems.

The Education White Paper sets standards for managing and sharing AI data in education, while the Health and Life White Paper outlines the structure of the data corpus for medicine, drug development, clinical medicine, healthcare management, and traditional Chinese medicine.

The company also worked with nearly 20 companies to release a group standard for corpus construction. It aims to encourage the sharing of data resources and promote the construction of high-level data elements, the company said.
