Mandy Moore and Èdgar Ramírez’s series premiere date revealed

The second season of Dr. Death will star Mandy Moore and Èdgar Ramírez. The Western premiere is scheduled for December 2023.

Over the past few months, the streamer has made sure there’s something for everyone, releasing a diverse lineup of content ranging from new releases to re-releases and even re-releases of old classics. As the July slate continues to grow, with big names like Nicolas Cage, Brie Larson, Mark Wahlberg and Adam Driver, Mandy Moore and Édgar Ramírez also bringing their programming to the table. Dr. Death Season 2, which stars the This Is Us star alongside Ramírez, is now available on the Lionsgate Play app.

De Death 2 Release date already known

For the uninitiated, we recently reported that the makers of Dr. Death Season 2 are finally ready to release the series in India. The medical crime drama is set to release in the West in December 2023 and has been praised for its content and acting. Turns out, we now have a release date, which is not far off today. Read on to know everything about this massive update of the day.

Dr. Death Season 2 will be released on Lionsgate Play in July, with the show scheduled for the first half. The series, starring Mandy Moore and Édgar Ramírez, will hit the streaming platform on July 12, 2024, and will be released exclusively in English. The show consists of eight episodes, and all of them will appear on the platform on the same day.

About Doctor Death Season 2

Based on the life of NBC producer Benita Alexander, Dr. Death 2 explores her relationship with Dr. Paolo Macchiarini, with whom she worked on a Dateline story about him. They soon fell in love, even though he was already married, but she was kept in the dark. However, that was not the only fraud. He also claimed to be a surgeon to the stars and the personal surgeon of the Pope himself. After the deaths of many of his patients, an investigation found Paolo Macchiarini guilty of research fraud and falsifying documents. He was subsequently investigated for medical manslaughter but was never tried, although he was found to have acted “without due diligence.”

The main roles include Édgar Ramírez as Paolo Macchiarini, Luke Kirby as Dr. Nathan Gamelli, Gustaf Hammarsten as Dr. Anders Svensson, Mandy Moore as Benita Alexander, Greg Hildreth as Luke, Ashley Madekwe as Dr. Ana Lasbrey and Celestina Harris as Lizzi.
