Spy Gadget Store Opens in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Need some spy gear? You might want to check out this new store in Morgantown.

Electronics store Spysite.com, which offers comprehensive security, protection and monitoring solutions, held its grand opening on Saturday.

Owner Diana Enisco explained that the company started in 1995 as a personal safety store, selling pepper spray and related products. Since then, the company has expanded to include security services, surveillance and manufacturing its own cameras.

Enciso said her favorite item in the store is a hidden camera that looks like a soda bottle, and while these hidden cameras may seem like a novelty, they actually have a real purpose in the community. Some customers used the cameras to make sure their children were safe during an uncertain custody situation, while others used the cameras to make sure no one was stealing from their store.

Enciso added that the importance of the equipment is underscored by the fact that law enforcement sometimes needs his services in situations where special hidden cameras are needed.

“We work with investigators, so we’ve worked on drug programs, we’ve worked on human trafficking, we’ve worked on child endangerment and other activities.”
