Gensol Engineering Appoints Binaya Panda COO to Its EPC Solar Division

Gensol Engineering announced that it has appointed Binaya Bhushan Panda as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Gensol Solar EPC, the company’s solar energy business segment.

Panda has experience in the solar, wind, thermal and power sectors. The company said in a statement: “With over 22 years of experience in the thermal, solar, wind (ISTS), cement, T&D substation and regulatory sectors, including a decade focused on renewable energy, Binaya brings a wealth of knowledge and an unwavering commitment to sustainable energy. He is known for his strategic planning, precise execution and agile oversight of complex business operations. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in contract management, budgeting and regulatory compliance throughout his career.”

Gensol said Binaya was earlier heading the Business Planning & Strategy Cell for Renewable Business at Aditya Birla Group. His career includes significant contributions at Welspun, Lanco, Avantha and Gridco, where he played key roles that shaped the industry, he added.
