NEW DELHI: Energy stocks were trading lower at 10:04 am on Monday

Karma Energy Ltd. (up 5.01%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd. (up 4.92%), Energy Development Company Ltd. (up 4.14%), KPI Green Energy Ltd. (up 3.60%), India Power Corporation Ltd. (up 3.43%), Indowind Energy Ltd. (up 3.36%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. (up 3.14%), NLC India Ltd. (up 2.87%), GE Power India Ltd. (up 2.48%) and CESC Ltd. (up 2.17%) were among the top gainers.

Top losers included Neueon Towers Ltd. (down 5.18%), KKV Agro Powers Ltd. (down 5.00%), Torrent Power Ltd. (down 2.62%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd. (down 1.96%), Jyoti Structures Ltd. (down 1.90%), RattanIndia Power Ltd. (down 1.83%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (down 1.46%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India) Ltd. (down 1.31%), Adani Power Ltd. (down 0.95%) and Voltamp Transformers Ltd. (down 0.84%).

The NSE Nifty50 index was down 17.0 points at 24,306.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 69.71 points at 79,926.89 around 10:04 am.

Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 1.62%), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 1.18%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.1%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 1.07%), Nestle India Ltd. (up 0.95%), ITC Ltd. (up 0.77%), Britannia Industries Ltd. (up 0.68%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (up 0.65%), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 0.63%) and Eicher Motors Ltd. (up 0.55%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd. (down 3.97%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 2.66%), Asian Paints Ltd. (down 1.32%), Shriram Finance Ltd. (down 1.31%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 1.05%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 0.94%), Adani Enterprises Ltd. (down 0.8%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (down 0.78%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 0.77%) and JSW Steel Ltd. (down 0.71%) were trading in the red.
