Kinly celebrates prestigious Logitech recognition as global partner

Kinly celebrates being one of the first organizations to receive the prestigious title of Logitech Global Partner.

Recognition and support are being extended with a new design and implementation recognition in the Logitech Partner Connect Programme, which recognises partners who demonstrate exceptional design and implementation skills, as well as the ability to expand their impact across geographies.

Jean-Paul Lemmens, Vice President of Sourcing, Product Management and Strategic Partners at Kinlycommented:

We are extremely proud of all that we have accomplished together with our partner Logitech. To receive recognition for our global partner status along with these regional awards is a testament to our success in delivering projects around the world.”

Kinly believes the achievement reflects a successful period for the company, which also won European VC Professional Partner of the Year at the Logitech European Partner Connect Awards 2024 in London in June, as well as Nordic VC Professional of the Year.

“Kinly’s partnership with Logitech brings together two industry leaders in video collaboration and workspace solutions, enabling us to deliver valuable experiences to our customers around the world,” he added. Eamon O’Doherty, Head of B2B Channels Europe at Logitech.

“Their experience as a comprehensive AV and UC integrator led to Kinly receiving the prestigious Logitech European VC Specialist Partner of the Year award. With a focus on simplicity and innovation, we are committed to delivering seamless video communications solutions for every workplace, no matter where it is.”

Kinly ‘reaches new heights’ with Global Service Director appointment

Last month, Kinly appointed Duncan MacPherson as new Director of Global Services.

MacPherson joined the global provider of AV integration and collaboration services in 2009 as a support manager. Over the past 15 years, Kinly has recognized MacPherson’s consistent contributions to the team, leading to his promotion to global director of services.

With two decades of industry experience, MacPherson’s background in service and operations management positions him well to lead the strategic direction and execution of Kinly’s service portfolio. In his new role, he will oversee the management of service delivery for these offerings, ensuring global consistency of delivery.

What’s new from Logitech lately?

In May, Logitech introduced MeetUp 2, its next-generation AI-powered video bar designed for conference rooms.

MeetUp 2 is an AI-powered USB conference camera designed specifically for BYOD and PC-based setups in small conference rooms. Logitech says the device is a modern evolution of the renowned Logitech MeetUp, which has sold more than a million units and is the company’s best-selling conference camera.

That same week, Logitech added advanced room booking and remote access tools to Logitech Sync to streamline workplace management.

Logitech Sync has been improved to include usage insights and automation, streamlining space and device management. Logitech says these improvements reduce the burden on overworked IT teams by ensuring meeting spaces are always available and up and running. They also enable IT professionals to manage these spaces remotely and securely.

In June, Vyopta joined the Logitech Collaboration Program to offer valuable insights into meeting rooms and collaboration spaces.

Vyopta and Logitech are partnering to deliver essential visibility into space utilization through the CollabOS API. This initiative aims to provide leaders with access to key data, enabling them to make informed, data-driven decisions to optimize real estate investments and ensure that workplace infrastructure meets the evolving needs of the modern workforce.
