Tata Communications appoints Bhaskar Gorti as Executive Vice President

Tata Communications has announced the appointment of Bhaskar Gorti as Executive Vice President, Cloud & Cybersecurity Services. Bhaskar will assume the new role from July 2024 and will be a member of the Global Management Committee of the company.

With his broad experience across functions, industries, technologies and geographies, and a strong focus on customer needs, digitalisation and automation, Bhaskar will play a key role in further developing and executing on the vision of Tata Communications’ transformational digital architecture.

Bhaskar, who holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, has nearly three decades of extensive experience, having held leadership positions at industry giants such as Oracle (senior vice president and general manager), Nokia (president of Nokia Software and chief digital officer at Nokia), Sandvine (board member), and most recently, CEO and board member of Platform9, an open distributed cloud service.
