EMX to transform e-commerce delivery across the GCC region

EMX, the logistics arm of 7X (formerly Emirates Post Group), has launched a new international e-commerce parcel delivery solution in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The new EMX service aims to streamline shipping processes for companies looking to reach customers in Saudi Arabia, as well as Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan.

Tariq Al Wahedi, CEO of EMX, commented: “We are pleased to introduce EMX International, the latest product to be launched following the launch of EMX. This represents a significant step forward in our mission to further strengthen our position as a leading CEP service provider.

“EMX is committed to customer convenience and transforming the logistics landscape for future advancements and expansion. Our overarching goal at EMX is to expand our service offerings, penetrate new markets and meet diverse needs. With EMX, the future of logistics is within reach and more connected than ever.”

Regional challenges

When shipping internationally in the GCC region, e-commerce businesses in the UAE face various challenges and difficulties, which often require complex logistics coordination across multiple countries and compliance with customs regulations. This can result in delays and higher operational costs, ultimately leading to an unpleasant customer experience.

For businesses located in the UAE and beyond, including China, Turkey, India, the UK, the US and other countries, EMX International’s parcel delivery service simplifies the process by providing a one-stop solution.

With the new service, EMX will consolidate shipments to the Gulf Cooperation Council region, enabling businesses to use Dubai as a gateway to countries and optimise their logistics.

To ensure a better customer experience, EMX has partnered with a network of reputable courier service providers across the GCC region. This partnership ensures high-quality first and last mile service levels, including strong customs clearance processes, specialist infrastructure (such as geographic coverage, fleet and workforce) and the use of cutting-edge technology.
