Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Maharaja’ to premiere on Netflix on the same day

What is the story

Tamil movie Maharajastarring Vijay Sethupathi, has grossed over Rs 650 crore since its release on June 14, 2024.

The critically acclaimed film is set to hit Netflix on Friday (July 12), the streaming service announced on Monday,

The film will be available to watch in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

This is Sethupathi’s second film this year after Happy Christmas.

Sethupathi had earlier expressed gratitude for the film’s success

MaharajaDirected by Nithilan Saminathan and starring many well-known actors including Anurag Kashyap and Mamta Mohandas, the film was widely acclaimed.

Earlier, Sethupathi expressed gratitude for the support, saying, “We are extremely happy with the overwhelming response this campaign has received from outside the state (Tamil Nadu).”

“People are showering love on every actor and technician who worked on the film. I don’t know what to say!”

Sethupathi’s upcoming projects are creating buzz

Apart from MaharajaSethupathi is involved in several other projects including Peddyand awaited Viduthalai Part 2.

In the second film, written and directed by Vetrimaaran, Sethupathi’s character is set to be rejuvenated through the use of anti-aging technology.
