Crunchyroll, the largest anime platform worldwide, delighted fans with a series of blockbuster announcements during its industry panel at Anime Expo 2024 on July 6. The highly anticipated event, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, revealed a slew of new acquisitions, world premieres, and exciting updates, solidifying Crunchyroll’s position as a leader in anime streaming.

The Omniscient Reader Anime adaptation

Crunchyroll and Aniplex are gearing up to adapt popular Korean web novel-turned-webtoon The Omniscient Reader into an anime series. The announcement was accompanied by the debut of key art and the first trailer, which excited fans.
