Lomond Estate Agency Reveals 58th Acquisition in Three Years

Growing property player Lomond has revealed the stunning scale of its expansion, opening 58t acquisition, this time of leading East Midlands agency, Acquire.

The company, which has offices in Derby, Burton and Chesterfield, has attracted an “aggressive” acquisitions team from Lomond as the property market in the region has performed well recently, with house prices rising by 15% and rents up 20%.

The Acquire acquisition follows the acquisition of other East Midlands businesses, Lomond including Royston & Lund and Centricadds 700 properties under the management of the group’s John Shepherd agency, which is its local “hub” brand and is headed by the CEO Richard Craterhorn.

He says: “The East Midlands has been a key area of ​​expansion for the John Shepherd brand and my leadership team have played a key role in delivering the business’ ambitions to date.

“We’ve come a long way and with a series of significant acquisitions we’ve made recently, it’s safe to say we’re just getting started.”

Acquire was founded in 2007 by agent Kushi Bachada and currently employs 10 people across sales, leasing and property management.
