Amazon’s Grey Market Stores Infringe Bayer’s Trademarks, Lawsuit Alleges

Multiple unauthorized Amazon.com Inc. and Walmart Inc. stores have made more than $1 million selling counterfeit products Bayer Healthcare LLC products, according to a federal lawsuit filed Monday.

The stores, sites registered by sellers can create on e-commerce sites, illegally sold more than 64,000 Bayer products, according to the complaint. The sites, G22Tactical LLC, SSEnterprises, EvergreenCreations, Cornerstone and Sigma Deals, bypassed the pharmaceutical giant’s quality controls and infringed on its trademarks, Bayer said.
