Bully Pulpit International implements tax policy practice

WASHINGTON: Bully Pulpit International has launched a tax policy advisory group led by partner and chief public relations officer Scott Mulhauser and managing director Adam Hodge.

Mulhauser was a senior adviser at the Commerce Department under Secretary Gina Raimondo in the Biden administration and previously founded Aperture Strategies, which was acquired by Bully Pulpit in 2019He also worked in the Obama administration.

Before joining Bully Pulpit, Hodge was a press assistant in the offices of the U.S. Trade Representative and the National Security Council in the Biden administration. He also served as vice president of external affairs at global asset manager Ariel Investments.

The firm said in a statement that with expectations of a divided federal government following the 2024 election, the practice group will help clients shape their policies, especially after the Supreme Court’s Chevron decision, which limited the regulatory powers of the government.

At the end of 2023, Bully Pulpit Interactive made its first international acquisitionby buying European consulting firm Boldt and changing its name to Bully Pulpit International. The deal gave the company 9.1% revenue growth in 2023, despite revenue in the U.S. falling by 6.6%According to PRWeek Agency Business Report 2024.
