Start Campus Announces Key Management Appointments

Start Campus, a company specializing in the design, construction and operation of the next generation of sustainable data centers, today announced the appointment of Robert Dunn as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Dunn, who has served as interim CEO since November 2023, will continue to lead the company in the development of SINES DC, a 495-megawatt data center campus in Portugal. At the same time, Start Campus is also announcing the appointment of Luis Rodrigues as COO.

Dunn will be supported by an experienced senior management team with proven track records in the data center, energy, legal and finance sectors, and a dedicated team of more than 50 professionals.

Dunn joined Start Campus in 2022 and has over 15 years of experience in various management roles in the data centre industry, including managing data centre builds across Europe for leading data centre developers. Building on this wealth of experience, Dunn has played a key role in overseeing the development of the SINES DC as its first building nears completion.

Luis Rodrigues joined Start Campus in 2021 as Head of Data Center Operations. With over 15 years of experience leading operations and management for world-class data center operators and developers, Rodrigues has played a key role in establishing a leading and experienced operations team at Start Campus.
