Rajasthan govt includes Ramlal Pran Pratishtha Day in school calendar, ET Education

The Rajasthan Board of School Education recently added to its calendar the dates of holidays and days to be celebrated in schools.

Jaipur, Rajasthan government schools are gearing up to celebrate January 22 as Ramlala Pran Pratishtha Day after the date was added to the list of annual holidays conducted by the state education department. The Rajasthan Board of School Education recently added the information to its calendar, which lists the dates of holidays and days celebrated in schools.

This calendar does not specify how this day is to be celebrated or what students will have to do on this day. However, the calendar does provide general guidelines on how these holidays or days should be celebrated.

The first tip is to have a discussion about these days, inform students about the significance of the day, and also make drawings to represent the significance of the day.

Minister Madan Dilawar launched the calendar three days ago, the office of the Minister of School and Public Education confirmed to IANS.

As per the calendar, students will also celebrate Raksha Bandhan in school where students will tie Raksha Sutra with themselves a day before the festival. This year Raksha Bandhan falls on August 19, i.e. Monday, so the festival will be celebrated on Saturday (August 17) in schools.
