Latest BossaNova Media Hires: Alex Pye, Kristina Giulalieva and Sarah Postlethwaite

BossaNova Media, a London-based content creation, financing and distribution company, has added three new directors to its team.

Alex Pye has been appointed to the newly created role of marketing manager.

She joins us from Warner Bros Discovery where she served as Marketing Director, International Licensing, developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple territories.

Pye’s CV also includes a five-year stint as head of marketing at WestEnd Films.

Meanwhile, Kristina Giulalieva has been appointed Contract Rights Coordinator, reporting to Commercial and Business Director Claire Lowe.

Giulieva began her career as an actress but soon moved behind the camera and became a production assistant at London agency WendyVision, which specialises in music videos, commercials and short films.

Finally, Sarah Postlethwaite takes on the role of Director of Acquisitions, supporting Head of Acquisitions Claire Runham.

She previously held marketing positions at Entertainment One and AMC Networks.

Postlethwaite will split his time between his new roles at Bossanova and the content team at Eccho Rights, both of which are owned by Munich-based Night Train Media.

In other company news, Bossanova also recently signed several distribution deals.

A renewal package has been agreed with Sky which will see the pay-TV broadcaster take over the documentary series Border Patrol (episodes 9 to 12), Highway Patrol (episodes 8, 9 and 15) and Caught on Dashcam (episode 1).

Meanwhile, Borderforce USA: The Bridges has also been picked up by Discovery Latin America (S2 and 3), Discovery Nordics (S1-4), Mediawan (S1-5) and RTL Netherlands (S1-5).
