Lagardère Travel Retail makes new appointments to support its strategic plan

Lagardère Travel Retailpioneer of the three-line business model, announced the evolution of its organization by hiring new people. The goal is to increase efficiency through global coordination, while maintaining one of the key elements of success: local empowerment.

Frederick ChevalierCurrently Regional COO for Europe and Africa and Near Eastit is arranged Deputy General Director. He will provide a strong focus on operations and development while continuing to work on the company. Transformation plan initiated during the Covid-19 period in 2020.

To increase efficiency and provide better support to countries, two departments were created.

The first division will focus on understanding traveler needs and market evolution to better define formats, commercial strategies and offerings. It will be led by Lylian VignauCurrently CEO Lagardère Travel Retail Duty Free Globalwho is appointed Commercial and Digital Director.

The second division will drive operational excellence and quality across the group’s retail and foodservice operations to strengthen the company’s position as a recognized market leader in customer service and in-store execution. It will be led by Charlotte DelmasCurrently Vice President of Transformationwho is appointed Operational Performance DirectorIn addition to this new role, Charlotte will also Regional Operations Director for Europeoverseeing operations in four European countries.

Both Vignau and Delmas will join the Lagardère Travel Retail team Executive Committee.

Lucio RossettoCurrently Business Directorit is arranged Regional Operations Director for Europe.

Vincent RometCurrently CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail France and COO of the Middle East region will also take over supervision of African region.

The newly appointed Executive Committee and its teams will play a key role in delivering Lagardère Travel Retail’s ambitious strategic plan and maintaining its leadership position in a competitive industry.
