OnePus Is Not Shy; Reveals More Details About Its July 16 Devices

OnePlus has a smartphone and tablet that will arrive on July 16

OnePlus has two mobile devices set to launch next week, one of which will be the OnePlus Nord 4 and the other the OnePlus Pad 2. While we know a little about each of these devices, OnePlus has officially revealed even more details to us.

In the case of the OnePlus Nord, in addition to the fact that we know it’ll be one of the first metal unibody devices in a long time — according to OnePlus, the only metal unibody phone of the 5G era — we also know it’ll be the thinnest Nord device ever, at 7.99mm thick. Of course, there’s some unofficial information in the form of spec leaks, like the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and a 5,500mAh battery.

The follow-up to the excellent OnePlus Pad is coming in the form of the OnePlus Pad, adding another member to the company’s tablet portfolio. OnePlus has confirmed that it will have a larger 12.1-inch display with a 7:5 aspect ratio. It says it will have an “industry-leading chipset,” which lines up with rumors that it will be the first tablet to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The company also plans to present accessories: a smartwatch and earphones.

In addition to the mobile devices themselves, the OnePlus event in Milan will also introduce the world to the OnePlus Watch 2R and Nord Buds 3 Pro.

The OnePlus Watch 2R, based on its nomenclature, may not be a full-fledged successor to the Watch 2, but rather a slightly less powerful version — doing what the R in the OnePlus 12R does compared to the regular 12. It will have the dual-engine architecture from the OnePlus Watch 2, which was largely responsible for the 100-hour battery life it achieved, and it will also have dual-frequency GPS and an aluminum body.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro will be the company’s next pair of top-of-the-line mid-range audio earbuds. We know they’ll feature a large 12.4mm driver, Starry Black and Soft Jade colors, and improved performance when it comes to reproducing low and high frequencies. They’ll also support up to 49dB of noise cancellation.
