Wind farms along the coast: clean energy solution or unsightly site?

Offshore wind farms are back on the table for New Jersey, and now it looks like they’ll be in Delaware, too. Shell plans to build turbines just off the coast in Atlantic City. In Delaware, legislation is on the governor’s desk waiting to be signed. But while many residents are celebrating the benefits of clean wind energy, others along the coast are expressing concerns about the environmental impact and how the turbines will ruin ocean views. We ask: Are offshore wind farms good for our region?
