Visa, Mastercard swipe fee cases to head to New York court, judge says

Swipe Charges Cases Filed Against Visa Inc. AND Mastercard Inc. Cases filed by two retailer groups are ready to go to trial and should be returned to where they were originally filed, a federal judge ruled.

Judge Margo Brodie of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York issued an order Monday directing the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to refer the cases to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
