Price, Key Features Revealed Ahead of July 10th Launch

Moto G85 price and specs leak: The price of the upcoming Motorola Moto G85 in the Indian market has been accidentally leaked via a Flipkart listing that appeared in Google search results. The unexpected reveal comes just a day before the smartphone’s official launch, scheduled for Wednesday, July 10. As per the leaks, the high-end variant of the Moto G85, which comes with 12GB RAM, could be priced aggressively below Rs 20,000. Such a pricing strategy could position the device as an attractive option in its segment.

Moto G85 Price Leak

The leaked listing clearly mentions a price tag of Rs 18,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. However, it is worth noting that the price tag is marked with an asterisk, which could be part of an introductory offer or include additional discounts from banking partners.

As of now, the price of the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage remains undisclosed. The full and official pricing details are expected to be revealed at the launch event scheduled for tomorrow. It is worth noting that this new model will be launching earlier than its predecessor. In comparison, when the previous version, the Moto G84, was launched in India, its starting price was set at Rs 19,999.

Moto G85 Specs, Features (Expected)

The Moto G85 is set to officially launch in the Indian market on July 10, with a launch event scheduled for noon. Buyers will be able to purchase the device through various channels, with e-commerce site Flipkart confirmed as one of the major online retailers.

The smartphone is not entirely new to the global market, as it has already been released in China and other international markets. In the run-up to the Indian launch, Motorola has been building anticipation by teasing key features of the device.

The Moto G85 5G is rumored to boast an impressive display. The device is said to feature a large 6.67-inch screen with pOLED technology. One of the standout features of this display is said to be its high refresh rate of 120Hz. Another notable aspect of the screen is the expected peak brightness of 1600 nits. If true, this would provide excellent visibility even in difficult lighting conditions like direct sunlight. This high brightness could make using the device outdoors much more convenient and practical.
