Oppo Reno 11 Pro Gets Price Cut in India Ahead of Reno 12 Series Launch

Mobile phone maker Oppo is gearing up to launch new models in its popular Oppo Reno 12 series in India and the company has announced that the official launch will take place on July 12. Just ahead of the official launch of the Reno 12 series, Oppo has announced a price cut for the Reno 11 Pro. The mobile phone maker has introduced a price cut on the Reno 11 Pro, reducing its price by Rs 2,000. (Read our full Oppo Reno 11 5G review here)

Oppo Reno 11 Pro Price Cut

The Oppo Reno 11 Pro was launched at a price of Rs 39,999 and now, after a price cut by the manufacturer, it is priced at Rs 37,999 in India.

The move comes just ahead of the launch of its successor, with the potential launch expected to sell off existing stock and attract budget-conscious shoppers who may be considering buying something from this segment.

This price revision should be seen as Oppo’s attempt to offer a tempting discount on the previous-generation device in the lead-up to the launch of the Reno 12 series.

To recall, Oppo launched its flagship Reno 11 Pro 5G and Reno 11 5G lineup in the Indian market in January. Both the models feature 6.7-inch AMOLED displays with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, offering users smooth visuals and responsive touch interactions. The phones run on Android 14 out-of-the-box, which is customized with Oppo’s ColorOS 14 interface. The Reno 11 Pro 5G is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 processor, while the standard Reno 11 5G uses the Dimensity 7050 chipset.

Both devices feature a triple camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is also available for selfies and video calls. These new models feature Oppo’s proprietary HyperTone Image Engine, a technology first introduced with the Chinese launch of the Reno 11 series in November 2023.

In terms of pricing and availability, the Reno 11 Pro 5G has been set at Rs 39,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. It was available in Pearl White and Rock Grey colours. The Reno 11 5G was priced at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 256GB option cost Rs 31,999. This model was launched in Rock Grey and Wave Green colours.
