Prime Day Competitors Offer Alternative Sales Available Now

play

Amazon Prime Day will take place July 16-17, but other companies are looking to get ahead of the competition by offering alternative deals in place of Amazon’s annual savings event.

Amazon’s competitors, like Walmart and Target, have already launched their own sales, offering alternatives to the e-commerce giant. Walmart recently kicked off its “biggest deals event ever” on July 8, and the promotion will run through July 11. Other stores, like Best Buy and Nordstrom, are also ramping up savings so customers can save big, offering discounts on electronics, furniture, and clothing. Many of those savings are already available to shoppers.

If the Prime Day sales don’t include the discounts you’re looking for, here are some alternative deals to look out for.

Walmart Just Launched Its “Biggest Promotional Event Ever” With Savings Up To 50%

The Walmart Deals promotion offers savings on select school products, such as backpacks and uniforms. Shoppers can save up to 50% on pricey items, and items like air fryers and wireless headphones are marked down, according to USA TODAY reviews.

Unlike Prime Day, which is only available to members, Walmart’s deals are available to all customers, regardless of whether they are Walmart+ members.

Target Circle Week also includes up to 50% off on thousands of products

In what the retailer is calling its “biggest sale of the season,” Target Circle Week is live with deals on summer and back-to-school supplies. Target Circle Week kicked off Sunday, July 7, and will run through Saturday, July 13.

Target is offering 30% off kids’ school uniforms, up to 40% off kitchen and floor care products, and up to 50% off select toys from brands like LEGO and Monster Jam.

During this time, customers can purchase a Target Circle 360 subscription for $49 for the first year (regular price is $99 per year), which comes with delivery benefits like unlimited access to Target’s same-day deliveries via Shipt and no delivery fees for orders over $35, according to the company’s website.
