Mergers and acquisitions.

Boston-based cybersecurity firm Rapid7 has agreed to acquire cyber asset management company Noetic Cyber. The company says that “the addition of Noetic’s CAASM solution to Rapid7’s existing cybersecurity solutions will provide more comprehensive visibility into a customer’s environment, including visibility into internal and external assets, on-premises and in the cloud.”

Florida-based security awareness training provider KnowBe4 has completed its acquisition of cloud email security company Egress. KnowBe4 says it “plans to integrate the recently acquired Egress products and operations over the coming months and focus on delivering a unified customer experience.”

Investments and exits.

Austin, Texas-based cyber investigations startup Command Zero has emerged from stealth with $21 million in seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Insight Partners. According to SC Media, the company will use the funds “to strengthen the data breach investigation capabilities of its autonomous cyber investigations platform.”

Israeli cyber crisis preparedness platform provider Cytactic has raised $16 million in a seed round led by Evolution Equity Partners. Founder and CEO Dr. Nimrod Kozlovski said, “Given the strong demand, this investment will enable us to scale globally and expand our network of strong professional partnerships.”

Outpost24 has appointed Ido Erlichman as its new CEO.

Datadobi has named Denise Natali as vice president of sales, Americas.
