Accenture further expands integrated circuit design capabilities with acquisition of Cientra

Cientra employs approximately 530 experienced engineers and practitioners across Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers in India.

Following its recent acquisition of Indian semiconductor design services provider Excelmax Technologies, Accenture further strengthened its IC design and engineering services capabilities with the acquisition of Cientra, which provides custom IC solutions to clients around the world.

Founded in 2015, Cientra is headquartered in New Jersey, USA, with offices in Frankfurt, Germany, and Bangalore, Hyderabad, and New Delhi, India. The company’s embedded IoT consulting and application-specific IC design and verification consulting capabilities enhance Accenture’s IC design expertise and further strengthen its ability to help clients accelerate the semiconductor innovation required to support growing data needs.

The company employs approximately 530 experienced engineers and practitioners at Accenture’s advanced technology centers in India.
