Moto g85 5G Specifications, Price in India

Hyderabad: Motorola has launched the Moto G85 5G smartphone with a 3D curved pOLED display in India at a starting price of Rs 16,999.

The Moto G85 is powered by Qaulcomm’s Sanpdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. The 6.7-inch pOLED display comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 1600 nits of brightness. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate and also comes with SGS eye protection. The phone will go on sale from July 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM on Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and leading retail stores across India.

Camera

The Moto G85 5G will feature a dual camera setup, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It uses a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor and Quad Pixel technology for improved low-light sensitivity. This will make your photos sharper and more vibrant in any lighting conditions.

The secondary rear camera is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with macro vision that fits 4x more into the frame compared to a standard lens, while the macro vision camera gets users closer to the subject than a standard lens to capture details. Motorola uses a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front, with Quad Pixel technology for better low-light sensitivity.

Smart Connect feature

The Moto g85 5G will feature Smart Connect, which will allow you to easily share files, stream phone apps, and more across your phone, computer, tablet, and other devices with just a swipe. Smart Connect will allow users to enjoy their favorite mobile games on their big TV screen.

Storage

The Moto G85 5G comes in two memory options – 8GB RAM + 128GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card, and RAM Boost 3.0 temporarily swaps the storage for up to 24GB of virtual RAM when you need extra speed and processing. The phone also supports 13 5G bands with support for VoNR, 4×4 MIMO, and up to 4-carrier aggregation.

Coloration

It is available in 2 premium finishes – vegan leather finish and PMMA finish. It will be available in three colors – Olive Green (vegan leather), Cobalt Blue (vegan leather) and Urban Gray (acrylic glass – PMMA).

The Moto G85 5G has 33W charging and a 5000mAh battery that will provide 34 hours of battery life. The smartphone runs on Android 14 out of the box with guaranteed updates to Android 16 with 2 OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
