Dave HerlongChief executive officer, joins Ubicquia after a 30-year career with Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). Dave’s extensive experience includes leadership roles in distribution, buildings, street lighting, vegetation, smart grid, and cyber resilience. As Senior Director of FPL’s state-of-the-art control center and later as Executive Director of Smart Grid and Innovation, Dave played a key role in modernizing the nation’s electric infrastructure. Dave is a five-time U.S. patent holder, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and has earned Executive Certification in Strategy and Innovation from MIT. At Ubicquia, Dave will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Smart Lighting, Smart Grid, and Public Safety business segments.

Kyle BrownRevenue Director, brings over 15 years of experience in sales, channel management and business development. With experience driving growth and transforming organizations at Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, Cisco Systems and GlaxoSmithKline, Kyle is well-positioned to lead Ubicquia’s revenue generation efforts in global markets.

Joe OrtizSmart Grid CEO, will oversee Ubicquia’s utilities initiatives, focusing on solution development, go-to-market strategy and P&L. Jow has two bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and applied physics from Miami University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. With 25 years of experience at FPL, Jow has spearheaded projects in smart grid, clean energy, IoT, analytics, and AI. He has chaired committees at the Edison Electric Institute and is a senior member of the IEEE.

Keith ChincharCEO of Smart Streetlightingwill oversee solution development, go-to-market strategy and P&L for Ubicquia’s smart street lighting solutions. Keith has over 25 years of experience in engineering, business development and sales of IoT devices and smart city applications. His leadership on major outdoor lighting projects at CIMCON, Tesla, Encelium and Lutron will be instrumental in improving city infrastructure with energy-efficient technologies.
