STARZ RELEASES EMOTIONALLY RISING TRAILER AND KEY ART FOR “THREE WOMEN,” THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED LIMITED SERIES BASED ON THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER THAT EXPLORING FEMALE DESIRE, AIRING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

Pasadena, Calif. – July 11, 2024 – STARZ today released a trailer and key art for its limited event series “Three Women,” which explores a nuanced portrayal of female desire through the compellingly raw and honest stories of three women. The series is based on the instant New York Times bestseller of the same name by literary sensation Lisa Taddeo and premieres Friday, September 13 at midnight on the STARZ app. It will debut on STARZ linearly at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT in the U.S.

The series follows three women on a crash course to radically change their lives. Lina (Betty Gilpin), a suburban Indiana housewife, has been in a passionless marriage for a decade when she begins an affair that quickly becomes all-consuming and changes her life. Sloane (DeWanda Wise), an attractive entrepreneur from the Northeast, is in an open relationship with Richard (Blair Underwood) until two sexy new strangers threaten their dream love story. Maggie (Gabrielle Creevy), a college student from North Dakota, has weathered an intense storm after accusing her married English teacher (Jason Ralph) of having an inappropriate relationship. Gia (Shailene Woodley), a writer grieving the loss of her family, convinces each of these three spectacular “ordinary” women to tell her their stories, and her relationships with them change the course of her life forever.

Laura Eason (“The Loudest Voice,” “House of Cards”) is the series showrunner, and “Three Women” creator Taddeo (upcoming “Animal”) is a creator and executive producer. Kathy Ciric and Emmy Rossum also serve as executive producers.
