Amazon Prime Day event will take place on July 16-17

Amazon has announced the tenth annual Prime Day event, scheduling the popular e-commerce shopping period for July 16-17.

Prime Day is Amazon’s annual event, where you can count on big discounts on products across a variety of categories. In some cases, customers can save up to 50% on products. Prime Day, which falls just before many children in the US return to school, is a good time to save on school products.

“Prime Day is the biggest event of the year, celebrating Prime members with huge savings on the brands they love, as well as deals on Prime-only services like grocery delivery with an Amazon subscription and music and podcasts with Amazon Music,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime. “If you’re not already a Prime member, now is the perfect time to join and make the most of Amazon.”
