So what do the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6 offer? Let’s take a look at it, shall we?

Galaxy Z Fold6

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is equipped with two displays: the top, or outer, display is a 6.3-inch HD+ display (2376×968 @ 410 ppi) that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, while the main inner display is a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display (2160×1856 @ 374 ppi) that also offers an adaptive 120hX refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy with 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 512GB and 1TB of onboard storage. You won’t be able to expand this via microSD card, though, so you’ll need to make sure you have enough cloud storage if you need and need extra storage.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has multiple cameras. The front camera is a 10-megapixel selfie camera, while the internal display has a 4-megapixel under-screen camera, yes, you read that right, it is located under the internal foldable display, and the rear triple cameras consist of a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens.

In terms of battery power, the Galaxy Z Fold6 is equipped with a dual 4400mAh (typical) battery, Wi-Fi 6E, 4G, and 5G connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.3. The Galaxy Z Fold6 will run Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1 on top.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available for pre-order now in Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy. Prices start at $2,749 for the 256GB version, $2,949 for the 512GB version, and $3,499 for the 1TB version.

Galaxy Flip6

The Galaxy Flip6 comes with a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display (720 x 748 @ 306 PPI) with a 60Hz refresh rate on the front cover while the inner display is a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display (2640 x 1080) with a 120Hz refresh rate.

At the heart of the device is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, which can’t be expanded via MicroSD card. That means you’ll need to make sure you have enough cloud storage if you need it.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Flip6 comes with a 10MP selfie camera placed on the inner display, while the rear dual camera includes a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP wide-angle lens.

The Galaxy Flip6 will run Android 13 out of the box, as well as One UI 6.1.1. The Flip6 also has a dual 4000mAh (typical) battery, 4G and 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Galaxy Flip6 is available for pre-order now in Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue, and Mint. Pricing starts at $1,799 for the 256GB version and $1,999 for the 512GB version.

Samsung has stated that the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 will offer seven generations of OS updates and seven years of security updates, which to me has to be a record for Samsung. I am happy about these additional years of firmware and security updates.
