Bobby J’s Yamaha of Albuquerque Heir Keith Johnson Expands New Mexico Presence With Acquisition of Santa Fe Motor Sports

Keith Johnson, owner of the oldest Yamaha dealership in the United States since 1956, is breaking into a new market with the acquisition of Santa Fe Motor Sports, another company that has found success in dealership transactions managed by Powersports Listings M&A.

SANTA FE, NM / ACCESSWIRE / July 11, 2024 / Powersports Listings M&A announces the acquisition of Santa Fe Motor Sports by Keith Johnson and his wife Jennifer Johnson, owners of Bobby J’s Yamaha of Albuquerque, NM, a respected car dealership founded in 1956. Bobby J’s Yamaha founder Bob Johnson (Bobby J) raced flat track on Indian® motorcycles in the early 1950s. His son Stan and nephew Vern Johnson followed in his footsteps and raced flat track across the United States, gaining national recognition. Keith Johnson, Stan’s son, raced supercross, motocross and arenacross, winning the 2003 Supercross Top Privateer award and finishing 9tht overall in the series. Keith raced professionally for 11 years, scoring national race victories, and decided to join the family business full-time in 2009.
