Atlas Copco signs second acquisition agreement in a week | Acquisitions

Atlas Copco has signed an agreement to acquire Italian company Easy Filtration, a distributor of process filters and related services.

Founded in 2013, Easy Filtration employs nine people and supplies filter cartridges for air, gases and process liquids, filter housings and cleaning-in-place systems.

The company’s main customer groups are companies from the industrial coatings, chemical, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors.

Philippe Ernens, President of the Compressor Technique division at Atlas Copco, said: “This acquisition will expand our capacity to meet the needs of our customers in Italy, both in terms of filters and related services, in a qualitative manner.”

The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024. Following the acquisition, Easy Filtration will become part of the Compress Technique business area.

Just two days ago (10^t In July, Atlas Copco entered into an agreement to acquire Anhui NOY Technologies, a Chinese manufacturer of vacuum helium leak detectors.

Anhui NOY Technologies will become part of Atlas Copco’s Scientific Vacuum division, which specializes in vacuum technology.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2024.
