Best Early Bird Amazon Device Deals for Prime Day 2024

There’s less than a week left until Amazon’s huge Prime Day 2024 UK sale begins, which means you’ll soon be able to save big on a whole host of tech, home appliances, and beauty products. But more importantly for Alexa fans: Amazon devices.

From Kindle e-readers, Fire tablets, and Echo smart speakers to Fire TV Stick and Ring video doorbells, Amazon’s own-brand devices always enjoy the biggest discounts during the 48-hour event.

In addition to Amazon devices, the retailer will slash prices on its subscription services, including Amazon Music, Audible, and Prime Gaming. But it’s not just devices, as mattresses, coffee makers, electric toothbrushes, laptops, headphones, TVs, Apple devices, and more will all be discounted.

Below, we’ve rounded up everything we know about Amazon Prime Day 2024, including the best Amazon device deals you can expect and any deals you can take advantage of right now.

When do Amazon’s Prime Day device deals start?

Amazon has confirmed that Prime Day will begin on Tuesday, July 16 at 12:01 a.m. and will last for 48 hours, ending at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17. Those are the official dates, but deals on Amazon devices and subscriptions will start a bit earlier. The retailer announced that deals on its home security gadgets (namely Ring doorbells) will begin on July 10, while deals on Fire TV will begin on July 12. What about subscription services? Those deals have already begun.

What Amazon Device Deals Can You Expect During Prime Day 2024?

While most of the deals are still being kept under wraps, Amazon has given us a taste of what we can expect when it comes to a few select Amazon devices.

Amazon says that starting July 10, you can save up to 50 percent on select Ring cameras and doorbells, including Ring video doorbells, Ring indoor cameras, the Ring Stick-Up Cam. You can also save 55 percent on Ring Intercom and up to 65 percent on Blink security cameras.

On July 12, Amazon is selling off deals on the Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED series, with savings of up to 45 percent. Amazon should share more upcoming deals in the coming days.

What about previous years? We always see Echo smart speakers, Fire TV sticks, Kindle e-readers, and Fire tablets on sale, so we’re prepared for the same this year.

If you’ve never subscribed to Amazon Music before (or in the last 12 months), the retailer is currently offering five whole months of Amazon Music Unlimited completely free to celebrate Amazon Music’s 10th anniversary. Amazon Music Unlimited includes access to over 100 million songs and podcasts without ads, on demand and in high-quality streaming audio. You’ll have to pay £9.99 per month after the trial ends, but you can cancel before it ends if you don’t want to continue your subscription. The offer ends on 18 July (the day after Prime Day).
