Ochama aims to meet the changing needs of Amsterdam consumers with a new offering

Ochama, the multi-channel retailer, recently announced the launch of its “ochama 1h delivery” service, offering free delivery of selected products within one hour to most areas of Amsterdam.

About “ochama 1h delivery”

The offer covers a wide range of product categories such as fresh and frozen food, beverages, beers, personal care products and many more. Customers placing orders between 9:00 and 23:00 local time will receive their packages within an hour. For orders placed after 23:00, delivery will be conveniently scheduled before 10:00 the following day.

How does the “1h ochama delivery” work?

The foundation of our fast delivery capabilities is our Forward Distribution Center (FDC) strategically located in Amsterdam. Closer to our customers, FDC handles warehousing, sorting and immediate order fulfillment, efficiently serving consumers within a 3 km radius.

Specifically, once an order is placed, it is immediately transferred to Amsterdam FDC. There, ochama’s dedicated team quickly selects and packages the items. The package is then delivered directly to the customer’s door by ochama’s in-house couriers, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process.

Comfortable Ochama delivery and pickup options

To further meet the diverse collection needs of its customers, ochama recently introduced over 1,000 collection boxes in the Netherlands and Belgium. This innovative, automated collection option adds convenience to ochama’s existing collection services.

Ochama offers customers efficient and convenient delivery and collection options. Ochama currently offers home delivery services in 24 countries and operates over 800 collection points in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. In addition, ochama has introduced same-day collection services in selected regions of the Netherlands.

During its recent “618 Grand Promotion,” an annual sale that offered significant discounts on a wide range of products, ochama saw a 245% year-on-year increase in electronics sales, demonstrating growing trust and preference among its customers.
