Levi Strauss appoints new Dockers CEO

American denim giant Levi Strauss & Co. announced on May 16 that Anne Rohosy has been appointed executive vice president and president of Global Dockers.

As the new president of Dockers, Rohosy will be responsible for all product, marketing and business operations for the global khaki brand, reporting to Levi Strauss & Co. Chairman and CEO John Anderson.

She joins Dockers in this leadership role after spending two years as senior vice president overseeing Levi’s North America wholesale operations. Prior to joining Levi Strauss & Co., she spent 15 years at Nike.

Rohosy has extensive experience in brand management, sales, consumer-driven growth strategies and strategic distribution. Prior to her role as SVP at Levi’s, Rohosy led Nike’s U.S. retail strategy and apparel merchandising, and previously worked with global brands Swatch and Liz Claiborne.

Dockers products are sold in more than 50 countries around the world in stores ranging from Macy’s and Kohl’s to Barney’s and Urban Outfitters. As for Levi Strauss & Co., its brands (Levi’s, Dockers, Signature and Denizen) are sold in more than 110 countries, and last year the group recorded revenues of $4.4 billion.
