Plot and cast

Severance follows Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott, who leads a team at Lumon Industries. Lumon employees have undergone a debriefing procedure that surgically divides their memories between their professional and personal lives. This bold experiment in “work-life balance” is put to the test when Mark finds himself at the center of an unfolding mystery. In Season 2, Mark and his colleagues face the tragic consequences of manipulating the debriefing barrier, leading them even further down a path of misfortune.

The cast includes Emmy Award nominee Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, Emmy Award winner John Turturro, Oscar winner Christopher Walken and Oscar and Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette.
