Free TV releases OQEE app for Apple Vision Pro

The French platform Free TV has released its own app for Apple Vision Pro.

This means that Freebox TV subscribers and 5G Free Mobile Plan subscribers will be able to access OQEE by Free TV services via Apple Vision Pro.

The Cupertino company launched its immersive experience device in Europe last week.

OQEE provides subscribers with access to over 230 live TV channels, as well as a range of catch-up services and on-demand content. Freebox subscribers can also access OQEE Ciné directly on Apple Vision Pro, giving them an unprecedented experience.

Functionality includes live pause, rewind and restart playback.

Freebox subscribers can also use the app to record shows and watch them later. Depending on the Freebox plan you choose, the package includes up to 320 hours of recording.

To use OQEE on an Apple Vision Pro device, subscribers simply need to download and install the app from the App Store or ask Siri, then connect using their free login and password.

Separately, ARTE has unveiled its own app arte.tv, optimised for Apple Vision Pro for its launch in France and Germany. The European arts channel is offering its entire catalogue in this format, including a new adaptation of Inua – A Story in Ice and Time, the award-winning adventure video game designed for the launch of the first space computer in France and Germany.
