The launch date for the One Grape & Wine Sector Plan has been set

Australian Grape & Wine and Wine Australia will be present at the launch One plan for the grape and wine sector which will take place on Friday 2nd August at the National Wine Centre in Australia.

We encourage representatives from the Australian wine sector interested in export and marketing opportunities, research and innovation activities, regulation and market access, and market intelligence to attend.

This includes, among others, exporters, wine growers, wine producers, wine associations, wine sellers and wine promoters.

The focal point of the day is the premiere One plan for the grape and wine sectorhigh-level directional strategy for the entire sector.

The ultimate aim of the plan is to address the challenges faced by the sectors and create a stronger, more resilient and sustainable grape and wine sector for the future.

This document sets out how to best respond to recent challenges and get the sector back on track to achieve the long-term goals set out in the Vision 2050 strategy.

Development One plan for the grape and wine sector consulted with representatives from across the wine sectors to set priorities and identify ways to work together to achieve a common goal.

The consultation identified the strategic priorities on which the sector wants to focus its energy, efforts and resources.

The plan aims to enable a network of regional and state associations and service providers to coordinate collective action and investment to refocus the combined efforts of the sector over the next six years.

Following the launch, Wine Australia will provide an update on the current state of play in the Australian wine sector, an update for exporters, and market development, regulatory and research and innovation initiatives for 2024-25.

Following the update, there will be a networking lunch where attendees will be able to bring a bottle of wine to present to other networking lunch attendees.

The event will commence at 10:00am (registration from 9:30am) ACDT in the Hickinbotham Room at the National Wine Centre of Australia.
