French Competition Authority Confirms Nvidia Investigation | WKZO

PARIS (Reuters) – France’s competition authority confirmed on Monday that an investigation had been opened against chipmaker Nvidia over alleged anti-competitive practices.

Benoit Coeure, the agency’s president, told Reuters on the sidelines of a news conference that the company would be charged “if the investigation proves fruitful.”

Reuters, citing sources, reported earlier this month that the company was set to be charged by the French antitrust authority.
