The latest M3-based MacBook Air (7/10, WIRED Recommends) isn’t much different from the M2-based version. It has the same 13.6-inch LCD screen (with a 60Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness), the notch at the top of the display that houses the 1080p webcam, and a variety of ports (two USB 4/Thunderbolt ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MagSafe charging port). The M3 chip, which arrived late last year, isn’t a huge leap over the previous processor, but it does offer a nice boost in performance over the original M1 processor. It can also be used with two external displays at once as long as the lid is closed (an improvement over the single external display on older systems). It’s a bargain at this price, but we still think it’s a good deal — especially if you’re looking for a reliable and lightweight laptop for everyday tasks.

If you want, you can buy these Pro models on Amazon for even bigger discounts. cut out the coupon on the page. While the M4-based MacBooks are inevitable, the M3 Pro and M3 Max-based MacBook Pros are less than a year old — so they’re still great choices. Both sizes have a bright Mini LED screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1080p webcam. Best of all, you’ll also get a ton of ports, including three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, HDMI, an SD card slot, a high-impedance headphone jack, and a MagSafe charging port. With a variety of configurations on sale, you might not know which one to choose. We recommend the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro for mid-level content creators who want a laptop that’s easier to travel with. The 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Max (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is a great option if you want a large display and great battery life.

The M2-powered iPad Air (8/10, WIRED Recommendations) was launched in May and is Already on sale. You’ll have a choice between an 11-inch display and a new, larger 13-inch display. I prefer the latter, which I used as a secondary display during the workday and for watching TV before bed. It’s also a bit brighter, with a resolution of 2,732 x 2,048 pixels and the ability to reach 600 nits of peak brightness in the standard dynamic range. Like its predecessor, it has the same thin bezels, USB-C port, and Touch ID built into the top power button. Thankfully, Apple has also moved the 12MP front-facing camera to landscape orientation. The M2 chip also ensures smooth performance, even with multiple apps running at once. Despite the larger size, battery life remains the same, but you’ll still get about six hours on a busy day.

Apple’s AirPods Max (8/10, WIRED Recommended) deliver excellent sound with a huge soundstage, rich bass, and fantastic noise cancellation. They also have a great build quality, with a flexible mesh headband and soft fabric earpads (which are also replaceable). We particularly like the volume wheel, which looks similar to the one found on the Apple Watch and lets you adjust the volume. We also love how well these headphones integrate with iOS devices, with the ability to switch between devices (like your iPhone and MacBook) without having to manually go through Bluetooth settings. This deal is only for the Space Gray color (for now), but it’s also the lowest price we’ve seen for these headphones. The other colors are on sale on Amazon for $449 (a $71 discount). They often drop to this price, but it’s still a good deal. It’s worth noting, however, that rumors suggest a new version of the AirPods Max will likely arrive this year. But it looks like the only major change will be the addition of a USB-C port instead of a Lightning one. So if that cool If this is important to you, we suggest you hold off.

The Series 9 (7/10, WIRED review) is currently our favorite Apple Watch in our guide to the best Apple Watches. It looks the same as the Series 8, but it has a few improvements, including faster performance, a brighter display, and longer battery life. It also comes with Double Tap, which triggers functions like playing music or hanging up calls by simply tapping your index finger and thumb. It will also support watchOS 11 (coming later in the year), so you’ll have access to new features like tracking health metrics at a glance through the Vitals app and measuring performance improvements with the new Training Load algorithm. It’s important to note, however, that due to a patent dispute, Apple has disabled the blood oxygen sensor in models sold directly in its stores. But that doesn’t apply if you’re buying a smartwatch through third-party retailers like Amazon.
