ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the launch of its latest invention, Azoth extreme. This 75% custom gaming keyboard is designed to provide an unparalleled gaming experience with a precision-crafted aluminum alloy housing, carbon fiber positioning plate, and many other premium features. The Azoth Extreme is not just a keyboard; it is a statement of quality and performance.

This ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme It features a premium aluminum alloy casing and metal frame that goes through a meticulous 12-step manufacturing process. This includes sandblasting, anodizing, and CNC machining, ensuring a solid and aesthetically pleasing design. The keyboard also boasts an impressive 8,000 Hz polling rate when used with ROG Polling Rate Booster and offers up to 1,600 hours of battery life, making it a reliable companion for longer gaming sessions.

The Azoth Extreme features a carbon fiber positioning plate, a significant improvement over the commonly used FR4, steel, PC, POM, or brass. Carbon fiber provides metal-like rigidity for a crisp typing experience, while its elasticity provides excellent shock absorption to minimize vibration. In addition, the keyboard uses three layers of damping, including two layers of PORON and a silicone pad, to absorb vibration and minimize switch ping and echo, providing sublime acoustics.

One of the standout features of the Azoth Extreme keyboard is the adjustable gasket grip. This innovative design allows users to switch between a firm and soft typing feel with a quick switch located at the bottom of the keyboard. The firm mode provides firm keystrokes with a quick bounce, ideal for gaming, while the soft mode provides a cushioned and springy feel, ensuring comfort during long typing sessions.

Full-color OLED touchscreen

The 1.47-inch color OLED display on the top right corner of the Azoth Extreme provides a wealth of information, including keyboard connection status, Caps Lock, and PC/Mac mode indicators. Users can tap and swipe the high-resolution OLED screen to access a variety of features, such as hardware information and the KPS function, which displays the number of user keystrokes per second.

The Azoth Extreme features pre-lubricated ROG NX mechanical switches for smoother keystrokes and improved acoustics. Tri-mode connectivity lets users connect devices via Bluetooth, low-latency ROG SpeedNova 2.4GHz RF wireless technology, or standard wired USB. Bluetooth connectivity enables simultaneous connections and easy switching between three devices. The keyboard also includes an extended silicone palm rest that matches its aesthetic and maintains stability over time. Additionally, the Azoth Extreme is equipped with two pairs of magnetic feet with different heights, providing three tilt angles to suit user preferences.
