Amazon Prime Day Deals on Kitchen Equipment and Appliances That Are Worth the Money

Many modern kitchens are a wonderful mix of old-school tools and gadgets with technology, and here at Engadget we’ve tried the whole range. We’ve tested air fryers , reviewed ice cream makers , found out exactly what sous vide is good for , and raved about a pepper mill . Many of the kitchen gadgets and gizmos we recommend are on sale for Amazon Prime Day 2024 , and we’ve rounded up the best of them right here. If you’ve been waiting for a good deal on new kitchen gear, now’s the time to shop before the sale ends.

As with all of Engadget’s tech deals, we almost exclusively highlight deals on gear we’ve tested or otherwise used and know is worth your money. We compared our guides and reviews with the Prime Day deals Amazon posted to create what you see here. And we’ll be updating these deal roundups throughout both days of Amazon’s Prime Day sale.

Vitamix

In our guide to our favorite kitchen gadgets, we list the Vitamix E310 Explorian blender as one of our top picks for almost any kitchen. It’s listed for $380, but it’s now $50 off at $330, which is about $50 more than its all-time low.

It’s still a pricey purchase, but we were impressed with it as it makes even the hardest ingredients smooth and creamy.

ninja

This is our pick for anyone looking for a good dual zone air fryer. After testing it out, we think it works best in larger kitchens because it takes up a lot of space. But if you’re cooking for a lot of people at once, its capacity and ability to cook two different foods at different temperatures at the same time will definitely come in handy.

It also heats up almost instantly and has a special feature that ensures two different types of food are ready and hot at the same time. It usually costs up to $230, but it’s now down to $180, about $40 more than it was last Black Friday.

Instant Pot

The Instant Vortex Plus 6QT Air Fryer is our top pick for air fryers because it heats up quickly, cooks food evenly, and has a nifty little window so you can see into your dishes. The “Odor Erase” technology does a pretty good job of suppressing cooking odors, but we found that it doesn’t eliminate them completely.

Thanks to Prime Day, the six-quart air fryer is now just $129, a hefty discount off its suggested list price of $170, though it has been sold for as little as $72.

Breville

The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro is now priced at $300, after Prime Day slashed the list price by 25% from $400 — the lowest price we’ve seen in a year.

The Breville Smart Oven is our recommended model for a combination air fryer and toaster oven. It’s huge, with a 5-quart cast iron pot capacity, making it almost a secondary oven—perfect for those entertaining or cooking for a crowd.

Even though it has the word “smart” in its name, it’s not an app-connected device. Rather, the term refers to the internal technologies that regulate and direct the temperature during cooking.

sodastream

Those who prefer a little sparkle in their drink can grab the SodaStream Art Bundle, which has dropped to $105 from its usual $199 price tag, a new low. The bundle includes a soda machine, two 60-liter CO2 cylinders, two dishwasher-safe bottles, and two bottles of flavor drops.

Instant Pot

The best budget pick in our sous vide cooking guide is the Accu Slim Sous Vide from Instant Pot, which is now down to $68, a few dollars off its all-time low.

We think this stick from the makers of the ubiquitous Instant Pot is a great starting point for those new to sous vide cooking. The controls are simple, the clamp easy to use, and the 800-watt heating element is capable of maintaining a steady temperature.

Breville

The top sous vide pick in our guide comes from Breville. The brand’s Joule Turbo Sous Vide Machine normally retails for $250, but its Prime Day price is a slightly more affordable $200, which is its lowest price yet.

It has a powerful 1100-watt heater and a new Turbo mode that shortens cooking times. Just remember that you’ll need your phone to control the device using the companion app, as there are no built-in controls.

The KitchenAid Variable Speed Hand Blender is the corded version of one of our favorite hand blenders. It’s currently $25 off and on sale for $45, which matches its lowest price in the past year, but we’ve seen this particular price quite a few times, so it’s not necessarily a Prime Day-related promotion.

Like its cordless counterpart, this version also has a variable speed feature that changes the harder you press the trigger for more precise blending. We’re also fans of the included pan guard to prevent scratching, and the included dishwasher-safe blending jar.

Vitamix

The Vitamix hand blender is our pick for a countertop alternative in our hand blender guide. Right now, the three-piece set, which includes a whisk and storage case, is just $130, which is less than the sale price of the blender alone. At full price, the set costs $170.

The Vitamix hand blender is equipped with one of the most powerful motors we’ve tested, and its unique head not only maximizes thrust for better blending, but also fits into a one-quart jar for easy blending.

Another pick from our kitchen gadget guide is the KitchenAid Artisan 5-quart Stand Mixer. The set with the Flex-edge beater is on sale for $350 during Prime Day. That’s $100 less than you’d pay for the blender alone, and $125 less than the full-priced set.

Artisan mixers have been a favorite of home bakers for years because they are durable, efficient, and look good on the countertop. The long list of available accessories makes it more than just a unitasker.

The Breville Juice Fountain Plus impressed us with its ability to juice even the driest vegetables. Now, it’s $50 off for Prime Day, down to $130, which is $5 more than last year’s Prime Day price.

We found it to be relatively easy to clean—as long as you do it right after juicing—and the motor inside is incredibly powerful. It takes up a lot of space, but makes delicious, healthy juice with very little effort.

Amazon Basics

Another small kitchen gadget we recommend to anyone interested in baking is the Amazon Basics Digital Kitchen Scale . The price is down to $9 for Prime Day.

We like it because it’s compact but can handle up to 11 pounds. Plus, it easily switches between pounds, grams, and fluid ounces. It’s a useful cooking tool and essential for baking.

KOSORI

The Prime Day price dropped from $70 to $56, which is the lowest price we’ve seen this year.

The electric kettle on one of our editors’ small countertops because it has multiple built-in temperature settings for different types of beverages, and the neck makes it perfect for Chemex-style coffee.

Chemex

The Chemex Pour-Over Glass Coffee Maker is also on sale. You can get this popular coffee companion for just $43 instead of the $47 list price. This is another pick from our little gadget guide. We like that it takes up less space than a drip coffee maker, while still producing much tastier coffee.
