Cosmetics Reviewer’s Best Prime Day Beauty Deals: Shark FlexStyle, TheraFace PRO, and More

As a shopping and reviews editor, I’ve personally tested a lot of products, including headphones and e-readers, but my bread and butter is beauty tech. I’ve been fascinated by skincare, makeup, and hair tools for most of my life. Yes, I even went eyebrow blind in 2016—it’s a rite of passage.

Whether I’m reviewing a product for work or just testing out a tool for my daily routine, I love getting my hands on beauty tools to see if they do what they promise (and are worth the price) or if they’re overhyped. I definitely picked up a few favorites from that, some of which are on sale for Prime Day. I’m here to save you the trouble of sifting through user reviews by telling you exactly which beauty products on sale are actually great deals and worth buying.

TheraFace PRO

The TheraFace PRO is probably my favorite skincare device I’ve ever used, and it’s what made me a fan of TheraBody Beauty. I use it almost every day to wash my face, using the facial cleansing tip. And while I usually use the TheraFace LED Therapy mask now, the PRO is still my go-to for microcurrent, massage, and hot and cold tools.

It’s an investment with an MSRP of $399 and an additional $99 for the hot and cold rings, but if you live and breathe skincare, it’s worth it. The battery lasts so long and the device is really multifunctional. I’ve even used it for non-beauty purposes when I had a headache and needed a little temple massage.

During Prime Day, the TheraFace PRO is on sale for $299, $100 off, on both Amazon and Therabody direct. The hot and cold pads are also $20 off.

Solawave 4 in 1 Radiant Renewal Wand

Before there was the TheraFace PRO, there was the Solawave. It seemed like every celebrity was using an LED device during their pre-event performances. I was totally inspired to buy one when it went on sale on Black Friday a few years ago. Note that I have an older model than the one Solawave currently offers.

I love the Solawave because it’s small enough to throw in any bag, wherever you go. I don’t travel with my TheraFace because I’m the queen of never checking in luggage and packing everything I can into my travel bag. But the Solawave has such a slim profile that I never mind making room for it.

I prefer the TheraFace Mask for all-over LED light therapy, but I absolutely love my Solawave for treating the under-eye area. It’s also so wonderful for a little massage between the brows (an area that also has some nasty wrinkles that could benefit from red light therapy).

The Solawave Skin Care Wand is on sale for 35% off on Amazon and 40% off with code PRIME40 at Solawave, while supplies last.

Shark Style FlexStyle

When the Dyson Airwrap came out I thought: there is no way i would spend 600 dollars on a hair clipper. And I still stand by that. But thank God, Dyson made a hell of a product. That’s why I love Shark FelxStyle so much: It’s a perfect fake.

I have short, shoulder-length hair, so I can’t create the gorgeous curls I see on TikTok, but the FlexStyle still helps me create cute, voluminous styles. It’s also become my favorite hair dryer by far. I love blow-drying my hair without any attachments, then adding the round brush attachment to give my fine, pin-straight hair a little lift.

The Shark FlexStyle is already a cheaper knockoff of the Dyson Airwrap vacuum cleaner, and during Prime Day its price dropped by another $82.
