ITHQ TO BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN ICHRIE 2024 GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON TOURISM, RESTAURANT AND HOSPITALITY RESEARCH

MONTREAL, July 17, 2024 /CNW/ – The Quebec Tourism and Hospitality Institute (ITHQ) will be actively participating in the most important annual conference of the International Council for Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (ICHRIE), which will take place at Le Centre Sheraton Montréal on July 24-26, 2024. Not only will ITHQ serve as a host school, but many members of its research community will present the results of their projects.

ITHQ will also participate in the Creative Teaching Lab sessions, a new feature of the 2024 edition of this international conference that will bring together professionals, professors and researchers from around the world who work in different sectors of the tourism, hospitality and restaurant industry. During the Creative Teaching Lab, professors, lecturers and instructors will present, share and discuss different learning and teaching techniques, as well as innovative pedagogical approaches adapted to today and future generations of students enrolled in hospitality and tourism programs.

Many ITHQ students will also be on site all three days to welcome the 450 people who have registered for the conference. In total, over thirty people from ITHQ will be attending this international event.
