The meeting chaired by Maqbouli is dedicated to the transport sector plan for 1446 as part of the national vision

SANA’A, July 17, 2024 (Saba) – A meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport chaired by the Interim Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, to discuss the ministry’s plans and sectors for the year 1446 AH as part of the national vision.

The meeting, attended by Interim Minister of Transport Abdul Wahab Al-Durra, reviewed strategic and service projects for the land, air and sea transport sectors in line with the guidelines of the national vision for the year 1446 AH, contributing to the improvement of the transport sector.

During the meeting, Dr. Maqbouli emphasized the interest of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council in various projects in the transportation sector due to their importance in providing services to the Yemeni people.

The Minister of Transport reviewed the projects that will be implemented in the air and land transport sectors as part of the ministry’s national vision plan, underlining the intention of the ministry and its sectors to implement strategic projects at the airports in Sana’a, Ta’izz and Hodeida.

He noted the interest of the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council in the reconstruction of the international airports in Ta’izz and Hodeidah and in providing them with everything necessary for the development and modernization of the air transport sector so that it can provide humanitarian services to all Yemeni citizens.

While the Vice President of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, Nasr Al-Nusairi, through internet technology, and the Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, Raed Jil, reviewed the projects implemented in the field of maritime and air transport in the year 1445 AH with funds from self-financing.

The continued implementation of the National Vision’s plan of projects and programmes for the current year that contribute to the development of these two key sectors was confirmed.
