The company says BB Matrix will enable companies to reduce transportation costs by nearly 50 percent, shorten order fulfillment times by about 60 percent and provide up to 100 percent supply chain transparency.

“To address the urgent need for agile, robust and cost-effective supply chains, we have made BB Matrix available to enterprises across sectors beyond retail and e-commerce, such as manufacturing, automotive, aviation, consumer goods, etc.,” said Rakshit Daga, CPTO and head of SaaS business at Bigbasket, who will also head the new vertical.

BB Matrix will deliver three vertical SaaS solutions – warehouse management system (WMS), transportation management system (TMS) and order management system (OMS).

“The platform is the result of over a decade of supply chain excellence at Bigbasket and is proven to scale to over 15 million transactions per month, integrating AI-powered automation, enhanced visibility from first to middle and last mile,” Daga added.

This comes amid growing demand for supply chain management (SCM) software worldwide. According to a recent Gartner report, global annual spending on SCM software will reach $62 billion in 2028, up from $29 billion in 2023, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.3 percent.

“BB Matrix provides comprehensive, ongoing support that includes configuration and optimization, seamless data integration with over 150 ERP, CRM and POS tools, and seamless migration to its customers,” said Manish Mishra, Director – Sales & Marketing, BB Matrix.

According to Mishra, the platform will offer its solutions in international markets such as the US, Middle East, Southeast Asia (SEA) and African regions.
