Dell partners with Qualcomm and Microsoft to launch Copilot+ AI PCs in India

Dell Technologies, in collaboration with Qualcomm and Microsoft, has launched its latest Copilot+ AI PCs for consumers in India. The collaboration has resulted in the launch of new XPS and Inspiron models powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. These products include the XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus, which come with advanced AI features including co-creator features, live captions and Windows Studio effects.

News agency PTI quoted Pujan Chadha, Director, Product Marketing, Consumer & Small Business, Dell Technologies India, as saying, “With the new XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus, we are setting the new standard in PCs. Equipped with AI features that intuitively adapt to user needs, smarter performance and connectivity, and seamless multitasking, these devices open up new AI possibilities for new users.”

Qualcomm makes its debut in Dell’s desktop and laptop offerings with a new series of products.

The XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus will be available to customers via online and offline channels starting July 16. The XPS 13 starts at Rs 139,990 and the Inspiron 14 Plus starts at Rs 115,590.

PTI quoted Saurabh Aora, Mobile, Compute and XR Business Head, Qualcomm India, as saying, “The platforms offer cutting-edge AI capabilities for creativity, video conferencing, security and productivity, with lightning-fast performance and enhanced security with Qualcomm Sensing Hub. Users will benefit from extraordinary performance, battery life and new AI experiences, making it a significant leap forward in the era of AI computing, catering to the evolving needs of both consumers and professionals.”

Dell will compete with Asus

The news of the collaboration comes on the heels of last week’s news that Dell’s rival Asus was launching India’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ laptop, the Vivobook S 15. The laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the Indian PC landscape. The advanced AI capabilities and exceptional power efficiency of the Snapdragon X series will revolutionize user experiences by facilitating seamless multitasking, enhancing security, and offering a wide range of applications.
