Continues to develop energy storage in Italy with NHOA Energy

The 50 MWh system will serve the ERG wind farm in Vicari, Sicily

NHOA Energy, a company NHOA Group (NHOA.PA) energy storage company is working on building a battery energy storage project with a capacity of about 50 MWh Sicilysouth Italyawarded by ERG, with an associated 5-year operation and maintenance contract. The turnkey project will be delivered to support ERG’s existing Vicari wind farm in province of Palermo.

The synergy between the wind farm and the energy storage will increase the efficiency of renewable energy generation while providing a more stable and reliable power supply, demonstrating the Group’s innovative approach to renewable energy management.

The battery storage project will be equipped with the latest NHOA Energy technology to meet the network regulations of the Italian Transmission System Operator (Terna) for storage systems.
